Quezon City, Philippines – Manila Electric Company (Meralco) revealed a rate hike of ₱0.2347 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) for this month. Consequently, the total rate for a standard household in November now stands at ₱12.0545 per kWh, marking an increase from October's ₱11.8198 per kWh.
Meralco specified that for residential consumers utilizing 200 kWh, this adjustment translates to a rise of approximately ₱47 in their overall electricity bill. This is after similar increases for October and September of this year.
