Unlike conventional hybrid solar and battery systems, combining VENUS E with a PHILERGY solar system offers greater flexibility and investment security.Key benefits include:Reliable solar investment: Your PHILERGY grid-tied solar system continues operating independently, maintenance-free and backed by extensive warranties, ensuring reliable long-term electricity savings.Independent operation: VENUS E operates separately and does not affect the performance, warranties, or maintenance of your PHILERGY solar system.Maximum flexibility: VENUS E devices can be relocated and used in other buildings or even taken on camping trips.Long-term security: With a 10-year warranty, VENUS E offers a flexible way to reduce grid dependence and provide optional backup power during brownouts.

Choose the package that best matches how you want to use your stored PHILERGY solar energy:VENUS Plug & PlayThe simplest and best selling option. Plug the VENUS E battery into a suitable outlet, connect it to Wi-Fi, and use the MARSTEK app to schedule when to charge it with available PHILERGY solar electricity and when to discharge. Ideal if you prefer to control your battery yourself.VENUS Smart EnergyIdeal for maximizing your PHILERGY solar savings without manual scheduling. The MARSTEK Energy Meter monitors your home's electricity use so the VENUS E system can automatically store surplus PHILERGY solar energy and supply it when needed. Monitor and adjust settings anytime in the MARSTEK app.VENUS Smart BackupAll the benefits of Smart Energy, plus automatic backup power for selected household circuits during brownouts.

The VENUS Plug & Play package is designed to connect to a suitable grounded 230V household outlet. Smart Energy and Smart Backup configurations require professional installation by MARSTEK.  If a MARSTEK Smart Box is added, the VENUS E devices are connected directly to it and installed near the building’s main electrical panel.

MARSTEK VENUS E uses advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery technology, known for its high safety standards, long lifespan, and reliable performance.

Yes! The VENUS E battery works alongside existing PHILERGY grid-tied solar systems.

The VENUS E battery connects to your home network via Wi-Fi and is managed through the MARSTEK app. For initial setup, the VENUS E battery and your phone should be connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. A stable 2.4 GHz signal should therefore be available at the location of the devices. Alternatively, the VENUS E can be connected to the internet via a LAN cable.

For the VENUS Plug & Play package, you can combine an unlimited number of VENUS E devices and manage them through the MARSTEK app.For the VENUS Smart Energy package, you can combine up to 4 VENUS E devices and manage them through the MARSTEK app.For the VENUS Smart Backup package, up to 2 VENUS E devices can be combined per MARSTEK Smart Box.

A VENUS E battery supports charging and discharging of up to approximately 2.5 kW, depending on the installation configuration. Actual operating power may be limited by the selected setup, household circuit and local electrical conditions.

This depends on the selected backup circuits, the available battery capacity and the system's output limit. Typical priority loads include lights, Wi-Fi, refrigerators, air conditioners up to 1.5 HP, fans and selected outlets. The number of connected circuits does not increase the available power, so MARSTEK must assess high-power appliances and simultaneous loads before installation.

The standard VENUS Smart Backup package includes connections for up to three selected circuits. In a suitable configuration with multiple VENUS E units, more than three circuits may be connected. MARSTEK will assess circuit protection, load distribution and any additional installation requirements.

A single VENUS E battery operates on a single phase, but VENUS E batteries can also be installed in three-phase buildings. For three-phase applications, the system configuration depends on the number of units and the selected operating mode.

Yes. The VENUS E battery is IP65-rated, meaning it is protected against dust and water jets and is suitable for outdoor installation. It should still be installed in an appropriate location and in accordance with MARSTEK's installation requirements.

With the MARSTEK Energy Meter installed, the VENUS E system can monitor household electricity consumption and adjust charging and discharging based on energy flows. In particular, it can match discharge output to actual demand, minimizing the risk of sending excess battery energy to the grid. This helps increase self-consumption and reduce electricity purchased from the grid.

The MARSTEK Energy Meter requires a 2.4 Ghz network connection to communicate with the VENUS E system and enable smart energy management. A stable network connection is therefore required at the installation location.

During a brownout, your existing grid-tied solar inverter automatically shuts down for safety under its anti-islanding protection. As a result, your existing solar system cannot continue charging the VENUS E battery during a brownout.

The MARSTEK Energy Meter is installed at your main electrical supply, either outside at the meter base or inside at your main electrical panel, depending on your home's setup. A stable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal must be available at the installation location, as the meter communicates wirelessly over the network and does not need a direct cable connection to the VENUS E battery. Professional installation is included with the applicable package.

Yes. The VENUS E battery has a built-in backup power outlet where you can plug in compatible appliances directly during a brownout, without needing the Smart Backup package.

No. No permits are required to install a MARSTEK VENUS E system.

A site inspection may be required, particularly for Smart Backup installations or more complex electrical configurations. After the purchase, you will be contacted by MARSTEK and a technical team may assess the existing electrical system.

Professional installation is not included in the selected packages. Standard installation assumes normal residential site conditions. Additional electrical work, such as major panel modifications, additional wiring or other non-standard requirements, may be quoted separately after the site assessment.

Under normal site conditions, Smart Energy installation typically takes around 1 to 2 hours. Smart Backup installation typically takes around 4 to 6 hours, depending on the existing electrical setup.

The VENUS E battery is largely maintenance-free and does not require regular servicing like a generator. The system continuously monitors its own operation through the app. Customers should simply keep the unit clean, ensure ventilation around it is unobstructed, and have the system checked if the app shows a warning or abnormal behavior.

The MARSTEK VENUS E battery comes with a 10-year manufacturer warranty. The MARSTEK Smart Box has a 5-year warranty, while the MARSTEK Energy Meter has a 10-year warranty. Customers purchasing through the PHILERGY VENUS Store receive the benefit of priority installation scheduling and expedited MARSTEK after-sales support.

When charged with free PHILERGY solar energy, a VENUS E battery has an estimated payback period of 4–5 years, based on 2026 electricity rates and developments in Luzon. For net-metered PHILERGY solar customers, forgone export credits may extend the payback period to approximately 8 years. The added possibility of backup power during brownouts provides additional value that an ROI calculation does not reflect.
